I delight in long, narrow vistas; I always feel like there's a definite goal with a shot like this. New Orleans in both the Garden District and in the French Quarter have lots and lots of such sights, as do many cities in the south.  New Orleans and Charleston for example have, in the old sections, houses built close together which are deep; they extend straight back away from the street.  Alleys abound. You'll find lots of hidden gardens, small recreation areas and some truly interesting sights.  Such as ...
